Michael Jordan Makes Generous $10 Million Donation To Make A Wish Foundation
Michael Jordan is widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. His incredible talent, fierce competitiveness, and unparalleled work ethic have made him a legend both on and off the court. Michael Jordan is honoring his 60th birthday by making a record-breaking $10 million donation to Make A-Wish America. According to the organization, it is the largest donation given by an individual in the foundation’s 43-year history. Jordan, who celebrates his birthday on Friday, hopes his donation will inspire others to support Make-A-Wish.
Jordan began working with Make-A-Wish in 1989, and since then, has granted hundreds of wishes to children all over the world. Make-A-Wish also named Michael as a Make-A-Wish ambassador all his good work.

“For the past 34 years, it’s been an honor to partner with Make-A-Wish and help bring a smile and happiness to so many kids,” the Charlotte Hornets owner said in a statement.
“Witnessing their strength and resilience during such a tough time in their lives has truly been an inspiration. I can’t think of a better birthday gift than seeing others join me in supporting Make-A-Wish so that every child can experience the magic of having their wish come true.”
Since its inception, Make-A-Wish has granted over 500,000 wishes for children around the world. The organization is based on the belief that a wish can be a game-changer for children with life-threatening illnesses. By granting a wish, Make-A-Wish hopes to give children the hope, strength, and joy they need to fight their illness.
