LeBron James Teams Up With Playstation For Limited Edition Playstation 5 Accessories
LeBron James and PlayStation are teaming up to produce a special edition line of PS5 accessories as part of Sony’s new PlayStation Playmaker initiative. First announced earlier this week, PlayStation’s Playmaker program highlights famous content creators, athletes, actors, artists, gamers, and entertainers in the world of pop culture who wish to share their talents and love of gaming.
The four-time NBA champion added his own personal touches to the hardware and accessories by adorning them with personal imagery adages “that have been meaningful throughout his journey,” according to a PlayStation press release. Featuring multi-colored inspirational quotes, the limited edition accessories include personalized messages from the NBA‘s all-time leading scorer’s “I Promise” book, such as “nothing is given, everything is earned” and “build, uplift, empower.”
According to Eric Lempel, the company’s SVP and Head of Global Marketing, the brand prides itself on “always [relishing] the chance to collaborate creatively with cultural leaders who redefine what it means to play – and live life – without limits.”
