Forbes Lists World’s Highest Paid Entertainers
Forbes’ annual list of the highest-paid entertainers is eagerly awaited each year by fans and industry professionals alike. Forbes has released their annual listing of the World’s Most Highest Paid Entertainers. These top earning celebrities earned more than 1.3 billion last year. Topping the list is Genesis, earning nearly $230 million last year after a $300 million music rights sale to Concord Music Group in September. Sting comes in second on the list earning $210 million last year by also selling his music catalog. Third, Tyler Perry makes the Forbes list for the second year in a row earning $175 million from lucrative income streams from film, his BET TV shows and the production backlot he outright owns in Atlanta. Perry’s net worth is estimated at $1 billion.
