First Ford Mustang Sells At Auction For $565,000
Ford’s new seventh-generation Mustang hasn’t hit dealers yet but the first model (VIN #001) has already been claimed. It sold for a whopping $565,000 at a Barrett-Jackson auction held in January 2023, and the sale’s proceeds are going to a good cause. The proceeds will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The 2024 Ford Mustang is scheduled to go on sale in the summer of 2023. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet.
